Mechanical reliability validation for IP cameras and CCTV — IPX6/IPX7 waterproofing, water-leakage testing, focus/SFR, lens-holder design, antenna and cable routing, acoustics and spring/pin mechanisms — carried from EVT through to mass production, with root-cause analysis using measurements and tolerance stack-up.

Led 6–12 month EVT-to-MP programmes across 2–3 concurrent Wi-Fi projects (1–3 SKUs each), aligning PM, ME, EE, RF, quality, factory, suppliers and customers. Led a team of 2 engineers and mentored 5–7 in NPI, failure analysis, measurement and part approval.

Offline-first workspace for hardware/mechanical R&D: NPI task flow, OK/NG/NA review checklists, issue log and one-page project report, 11 calculators (Cpk, x̄ − 3σ, torque window, stack-up, snap-fit, thermal pad, IEC openings, ΔE) and an optional stdlib-only file vault server. Bachelor research project, Aerospace Engineering, Tamkang University (Jan 2022, advisor Dr. Yang-Yao Niu). Derived the eigenvalues and flux-difference splitting of a time-derivative (Weiss–Smith) preconditioned system for the quasi-1-D Euler equations, then implemented it in a Fortran finite-volume solver (MUSCL reconstruction with Roe’s approximate Riemann solver). Validated on a diverging nozzle with supersonic inflow and both supersonic and subsonic outflow, comparing Mach number, pressure, density, temperature and velocity against the analytical solution and the Roe, Steger–Warming and Van Leer schemes.
